How can I check the status of a family members' test?

You are here!

  1. If the patient is 18 years old or older, he or she is considered to be an adult. Due to HIPAA regulations, unless we have a signed Release of Information form from the patient authorizing us to communicate with you, we are unable to do so
  2. Are you a parent or legal guardian of a minor child? As long as we have appropriate documentation indicating that fact, communication is possible under appropriate conditions.
  3. Are you a grandparent or a sibling or an "in-law" or a cousin twice removed or (you name it)? Unless we have written consent in the form of a Release of Information signed by the patient, due to HIPAA regulations, we are not authorized to communicate with you.
